MARIA ISLAND SUPER CRUISE + SHUTTLE BUS

Join us on our SUPER CRUISE from Triabunna to Hobart via Maria Island's stunning east coast, Marion Bay, Dunalley, the Dennison Canal, Frederick Henry Bay, South Arm, Iron Pot and the River Derwent. Our shuttle bus will deliver you to or from Hobart depending on the direction of the cruise and our renowned chariot the Spirit Of Maria will truly take you on the adventure of a lifetime.  

The cruise will depart from Triabunna at 9am, our shuttle bus will meet you at Brooke Street Pier at 7am.  We will drive you in comfort to Triabunna and board our chariot the Spirit Of Maria.   You may also like to meet us in Triabunna if you are already located on the east coast.  We will set off and cruise around the stunning east coast of Maria Island.  The east coast of Maria Island showcases mountain fed waterfalls, secluded bays, sea caves, ancient geology and beaches of pure white sand. Enjoy expert commentary as you cruise to the renowned Riedle Bay and Shoal Bay at Maria Island's isthmus for a gourmet lunch on anchor. These stunning beaches are both identical to the world-famous Wineglass Bay and are only visited by a handful of people each year.  En route around Maria Island we stop to showcase many famous landmarks including the Fossil Cliffs and Painted Cliffs.

At the southern tip of Maria Island we will cruise south to Marion Bay and enter the Marion Bay Narrows and Boomer Bay en route to Dunalley.  This is a wonderful experience to see the views around this stunning waterway.  As we travel across Boomer Bay to Dunalley, we transit through the Dennison Canal and we would consider this experience to be one of the major highlights of this journey.  We literally stop traffic as the bridge opens up for us and we pass through and stop at the Dunalley fish Market for lunch. 

Exiting the Dennison Canal, we cruise past Seven Mile Beach, Sloping Island, the rugged coastline of South Arm, Betsy Island, Iron Pot Lighthouse and into the Rover Derwent for our cruise to ther Hobart Waterfront.

Your lunch will be enjoyed onboard the boat.  Complimentary non alcoholic drinks of tea, coffee, juice, soft drinks, soda water and still water are provided on the boat.  A single serve of local wines (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc) and Tasmanian premium lager are also provided during lunch.  Additional serves are available for purchase for $6.

In the afternoon, your cruise will dock at approximately 4:30pm.  If you require the shuttle bus to return back to your starting location, the bus will be waiting for you.
